It seems that some unidentified individuals have forced us into the holiday spirit. We all saw it coming when the Christmas trees were displayed in the stores before the bottles of fake blood were off the Halloween shelves. As if we didn't have enough worries now we're expected to have the best Christmas ever. That's kind of hard considering everything, but perhaps Georgianna Hardware Corp. can help.
We have created a concierge service that is available free of charge. Our mission has always been to help others by supporting their efforts. When you're hit with a twelve hour work day, you're dog tired and you still need to stop to get a gallon of milk, Georgianna Hardware Corporation is there. Special days are fast approaching and you don't have opportunity to find a good deal that will fit your budget? Georgianna Hardware can help. Just email a few details about your needs and we'll get to work finding solutions.
The concierge service can be contacted at GHConciergeService@gmail.com.

Christmas Cards
When I select my Christmas cards I check the details. I guess I do this because my dad worked in the printing industry for a number of years. I check the quality of paper, the color sharpness, and the cut. Finally, I need my cards to be made in the USA. It's a real study and for some reason the men in my family prefer not to tag along for the trip. The winners this year were Legacy Greetings of Horsham, PA and LPG Greetings of Walworth, WI.
When I looked around on the web I found that Avanti Press has some nice cards available that are presented in a reusable padded mailing envelope. (That works for my tree hugger side!)
Each of these companies have posted links to local stores that carry their products. This makes it easy to support Small Business Saturday, November 26, 2011.
If you're not familiar with the printing industry, please take a few minutes to watch the Miller TP95 in action.

Happy Holidays Cars and Trucks!
Happy holidays to all of the cars and trucks out there on the road every day! We show them off, talk about them, talk to them, spend hours in them, and it is time we thank them by giving them a little gift. (I know that it is vehicle maintenance, so please don't bother with the emails!)
Anyway, while I was clicking around on Amazon I found Bosch spark plugs that are 40 to 55 percent off. From what I can tell Bosch makes most of their spark plugs in Germany and this really does go against why I founded Georgianna Hardware, but...(there's always a 'but', isn't there?) ...This seems like a pretty good deal.
We'll be able to have those vehicles ready for the holiday season, we'll save a few bucks, and save some time by not visiting the parts store. Plus, we'll make those vehicles be easier on the environment. Next time we see one of those feel good commercials we can all have the warm fuzzies.
Visit our discounted auto parts page and click on the Amazon link to get the savings. By the way, Amazon has found a way to make this easy. You just need to click year, make, and model.

Parts is Parts
I'm pleased that Amazon is the proud owner of Small Parts.com. I'll admit that the first things that came to this writer's mind are where I could use these items in the kitchen, garden, and for Halloween decorations, but this writer believes that you will see something that will give you an idea too.
If you are a regular reader you'll not be shocked that I especially appreciate the safety products that are offered at Small Parts.com. As for the prices, I think you will find them very competitive. An added advantage to shopping here is the free two day shipping on orders over $50.00. (Of course, there are some restrictions and certain items may only qualify for ground shipping, so read the "FREE Two day shipping" link on the Small Parts.com page.)
Please take a few clicks and browse around http://georgiannahardwarecorporation.com/SmallParts.aspx
if you dare!

Corporate Decision
I made a corporate decision. Big deal.
When I started this business I started a Twitter account so that I could get the company name out there and share information with other Americans that believe in the American dream. Today, I had an offer to sign up for automatic tweets. It seemed like a good idea, but thirty minutes after I signed up I decided to cancel the account.
This is personal. I study the accounts that follow #GAnnaHardware on Twitter and want the posts to be seen as a service, not a hassle. I hope you have benefited from following our company. Decision? No auto-tweets from GHC! <Maybe I'll start a trend. You never know.>

True American Company - Action Game Exchange of Jasper, Georgia
Today we visited a local store, Action Game Exchange, in Jasper, GA.
We have watched AGE grow and we can see that there is plenty of reason for their success. Their prices are very reasonable, they have knowledge about their products, and they offer excellent service. What more could a person want?
Although Action Game Exchange is a local shop, they have customers that drive quite a distance to visit the store. There's really no reason to wonder why. As an example, today I purchased a used game without the case for two dollars and later found it online in the same condition for twenty dollars! The good news is that you too can share in the excellent pricing and service that AGE offers. Visit the Action Game Exchange web site.
We offer games through our gaming page too, but AGE deserves a pat on the back. Not only can they sell you a pre-release of a game, but they can fix your gaming unit when you think there is no hope. We believe that Action Game Exchange is a true American company.

Being Tested
It seems that we are always being tested. Once again, it happened to me today.
As I was having some problems updating the GHC website I accidently clicked on a window that brought me to an article that reported the terrible working conditions at an Amazon warehouse in Allanetown, Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania is my home state. I was born there. I have family and friends there. The story took the wind right out of my sails.
Georgianna Hardware Corp. was started because I wanted to call attention to the fact that so many Americans are without work because we American citizens don't buy American made products. I didn't want to avoid paying taxes so I made it legal, gave the company a name, and started to do something. Anything.
Well, I sure didn't expect this test! I'm not going to defend Amazon. It is a problem that they will have to fix.
Something that I have never gotten around to blogging about is how I feel about OSHA and how it actually increases the cost of the products that are produced in America. My teenager is not allowed to work in the local bakery because she is too young to use the sharp knives. Apparently, my kitchen knives are fine for the kid to use to accidently cut herself with. On the other hand, many of the teenagers at my local grocery store have told me about their experience of being hit by a car while they gathered carts from the store parking lot. I don't know. You decide for yourself. Accidental serrated knife injury or impact from an SUV. (Don't forget to consider variables!) For myself, either would give me reason to go home.
Visit OSHA's web site and you'll see the rules that keep our eight year olds off of the production line and you will also see that some hair smoothing products contain formaldehyde. Talk about a broad spectrum of knowlege. You thought that salon smelled funny when you walked by!
Let's all agree that we will not run with scissors nor knives and we will keep them pointed toward the floor as we walk. Let's agree that we will look both ways before we proceed to our destination whether we are walking or driving a vehicle. It's a "pay it forward" thing to OSHA and MSHA. We can let them know that we cared enough to invest in ourselves, and our family and friends.
I just went to get the link of the page I was working on when I stopped to write this. I was searching out windshield wipers because I had seen a great deal that was available through Amazon. Now it's 4:25AM and I must tell you that the little poem on the page is in no way meant to be hurtful. I'm just being tested again.

Looks out, guys. The girls might be taking over.
Remember me? I told you I was a news buff and back in July I told you that I was angry. I also said that we were on the brink of something, but we didn't know what. Since I was angry and there was no real change in anything I decided I would make a change in my own life by shifting my schedule around a little.
My work day usually runs from 10AM to 4AM. My husband's day runs from 4AM to 10PM. I can't tell you how this happened, it's just happened. Anyway, when I shifted my schedule I thought I would notice something and I did. It seems that the girls are taking over.
Sometime back in the late 60's and early 70's there was the feminist movement. Now those folks are moving again. Their children are grown. Their grandchildren are looking to drive. Hey, guys! I repeat, it seems that the girls are taking over. You can research it or you can take my word for it.
In the mean time, we've been working on the web site and have tried to use my schedule change to your advantage. Please visit Georgianna Hardware and support American workers.
~Thank you

Adam Craig Band
I'm not the biggest country music fan in the world, but music is something that I like to believe I have an ear for. Last night I heard the Adam Craig Band perform at a local restaurant and I have to say I was impressed. The sound that the band has is solid and down to earth. I can't explain, but what keeps coming to my mind is: James Taylor goes country. Do me the favor and listen to few of their songs. You can use the link below. As always, we want to keep Americans working. Musicians need work too.

Exciting News in Jasper, GA
Rocco's Pub in Jasper, Ga is going to be hosting a big event on August 18, 2011. Wikipedia shows the 2010 population of Jasper to be 3,684. You can imagine that it is not the most exciting town in the country, but the people that live there know that and appreciate it. My family fell in love with the town at first sight.
To me, Jasper is America. The teenagers that run the registers at the grocery store smile, laugh at my stupid jokes, and say "Thank you, have a good day". The people that work at the local restaurant know that I drink coffee and they start a fresh pot when they see me drive into their parking lot. The veteranarian's office keeps late hours. The people that work in the post office know my name and they speak to me when I walk through the door. The guy that works at the nursery will ask how my tomatoes are growing.
It doesn't stop there because there is some crime. When we first moved into the area, I was in a store and my children came rushing to find me. The store manager had called the sheriff's department because there was a man with a gun that had entered the store. (We had just moved out of the city a week earlier.) By the time I made my way out of the store the police officer had already run the check for the firearm permit and the man in question was apologizing to the manager for causing a scare.
Then, one time when the dryer at the laundromat wouldn't start for me the manager put a quarter in the machine, gave it a whack, and said, "Sometimes you have to do that." It's basic. It's real. It's America.
As Americans, you and I are incredibly fortunate.
Press Release:
Rocco’s Pub of Jasper will host a collection of Nashville’s hottest songwriters on Thursday, August 18, at 7:30 pm. The songwriter night is sponsored by Jasper resident and music businessman, Jeff Catton. Catton, President and CEO of InTune Entertainment in Nashville, hosts an annual song writer’s retreat at his mountain home each year. This year the retreat concludes with a live performance at Rocco’s. “I thought the writers would have fun ending the week performing some of their new material as well as other songs,” said Catton. “We’ll have writers who have written songs for Jason Aldean, Josh Thompson, new act Thompson Square and many others as well as writer’s who’ve performed with Blake Shelton, Dirks Bentley, Sara Evans, Eric Church and Little Big Town.” “The acoustic performance at Rocco’s will be just like performances at the Blue Bird Café with each writer taking turns sharing songs. The Adam Craig Band will accompany them.” Said Catton.
Catton’s InTune Entertainment manages several of the writers including Adam Craig and his band, and Chris Weaver. “Adam has had a phenomenal year”, said Catton. “He’s had huge success with the song Church Pew or Bar Stool recorded by country superstar, Jason Aldean”. Aldean recorded the song on his current CD, My Kinda Party which has sold over 1,500,000 copies so far and is the number one selling country act this year. Craig already has another song to be recorded by Aldean on his next CD scheduled for release next year as well as one on the upcoming Josh Thompson CD. Writer Chris Weaver has the song Want It licensed by college football teams. “LSU and Oklahoma have licensed the song for their teams this year and we’re currently talking with the NFL about using the song as well. “We’ll also have writer Rick Monroe performing,” said Catton. “Rick hosted the Dirks Bentley – Josh Thompson Jagermeister tour this past year,”
Rocco’s is located at 47 Mountainside Village Parkway in Jasper just off highway 515 and call ahead seating is available at 706-253-1900. There is a $5.00 cover charge for the performance.

I'm angry.
I'm angry. Well, most people are angry, but not all of the people are in my shoes.
As you may have noticed, I am a news buff. I like to keep up with what is going on in the world. I admit that it's an unusual hobby, but I enjoy seeing businesses grow and expand. I enjoy helping people find information they need. I get a kick out of it. Some people watch television, I watch TV to study the social impact of the advertisements and the script. But now we're all waiting. Waiting for our federal government to make a decision about our lives and they are all fiddling around practicing brinkmanship.
Brinkmanship is a term that was coined by John F. Dulles who served as U.S. Secretary of State under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Dulles used the term to define the policy that both the United States and the Soviet Union used during the Cold War. Each party used fear tactics and intimidation to obtain their desired outcome.
All in all it seems to be very childish. We're on the brink of something but we're not sure of what that is; we just know we're waiting. In the mean time I'll be happy when the wait is over and I can get back to my hobby of helping people find the information they need and seeing businesses expand.

Consider This
Consider a recent report from the Bipartisan Policy Center. The report says that in the month of August, the Treasury has to make $306 billion in payments, but it will take in only $172 billion. I read reports that indicate that will be enough money to pay interest on the debt, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, defense contractors and unemployment benefits. Unfortunately, there would be no money left for active duty military, federal workers, and a number of other programs. I don't like to admit it, but sometimes that happens with my budget too.
Now consider that the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) currently has a job opening listed on their web site for a controller. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day finance operations and will supervise the accounting staff which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Other responsibilities include analyzing financial data, manage cash flow forecasting, and assist in budgeting and planning. Qualifications required include: Keen analytic, organization, and problem solving skills, which allows for strategic data interpretation.
I often hear about bipartisan discussions in the news, but they don't seem to address any of the problems that I deal with every day. I can't say that I've seen the job posted on Craigslist. I considered the possibility of my applying for the Controller position that the BPC has available and I decided that it is just not for me. Actually, I am definitely not interested in that position. Are you?

Twitter is Over Capacity
Can you believe it? I just tried to Tweet and Twitter is over capacity. We didn't even have Twitter when I first started to use the World Wide Web. Actually, the first comment came to me some years ago when a nice, young man came to my home to fix my DSL. I said, "Don't worry that you can't fix the problem with the first ten things you tried. When I used the VT100 it would hang up every once in a while. Computers always come around." He replied, "Hey, I learned about that VT100 when I was in college!"
This week is much better. I was able to attend the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, CA from the comfort of my living room. (That's better known as E3 to those who are heavily involved.) Over 45,000 people were expected to attend the three day event!
Microsoft had everybody's attention right off with their announcement of their Kinect Star Wars game. Funny that there would be excitement over the Star Wars game because Microsoft informed us that they are giving their XBox Live service a facelift. The updated service will give us access to You Tube and live TV. Not only that, but we will be able to control our XBox Live account with our voices. The updated service will also provide access to Bing to search for XBox Live content. They also announced that Disney and Microsoft has partnered to create the entire Disneyland park so we can all have a 360 experience. The rides will be considered mini-games.
Nintendo announced their next generation console, the Nintendo Wii U. The console’s controller utilizes a touchscreen that can be used to play games on its own while the system allows for interaction between the touchscreen and the television. It has a 6.2-inch screen with two analog controllers, but it isn’t a portable gaming device though because it acquires its images wirelessly from the console. With Wii U owners will be able to have five participants in games or can use more than one controller to play a game.
Sony announced the new PlayStation Vita. I admit I wasn't there, but I believe the consistent comments that the screen resolution is excellent and the controls are smooth. What appeals is the touch interface on the back of the device. AT&T is PlayStation Vita's 3G partner. The games might cost more, but the game experience will be far better. Sony is also adding to the 3-D experience and they told us about their new social network, "Near." We will see the Vita in stores for the holiday season.
I want to go back over a few things that I saw and a few that I missed, but the first thing that comes to mind is, "WOW!" I had a blast attending E3. Thank you to everyone that broadcasted.

Web site update - Deals
I don't always blatantly suggest you shop, but I'm still so impressed with the Amazon Warehouse deals that I figured I would remind you about them. The link I've posted is specifically for electronics, but you can access additional deals by clicking, "all Warehouse Deals offers."
The Warehouse has a lot more than electronics. Sure there are TV's and computers, but there are grocery items too. I found an item that I use regularly that was almost fifteen percent less than any sale price I can find in the grocery store. That fifteen percent saves me $3.25. That doesn't sound like much, but if I can save fifteen dollars on every hundred that I spend I'll be much better off. I just did the math on the annual household income.
There's a new goal. I'm shooting for a fifteen percent cost of living reduction!

Between of the nasty weather and a list of other things, I've been away from the computer for a few weeks. It wasn't that I didn't read anything or accomplish anything, I just haven't been spending a lot of time goofing off doing things that I enjoy. Thus, the Blog took a back seat.
Since I have the bad habit of keeping up with the news, I know that employment statistics are not what any of us want to hear. We have started a Twitter account and follow employment, deals, and anything that we find of interest. You can follow us at Twitter@GAnnaHardware.
We have also updated the web site. Our most recent update is lawn mower blades that are made in America. You can click the Lawn and Mower tab to see what we found. We'll be adding more products soon.
In addition to the Lawn and Mower page we have added a Resume Help page. Resume Help is free. It is fairly simple, but we had a great deal of response when we posted this information on our personal web site and thought we should include it on our business web site as well. Feel free to pass the information along to anyone that needs it.
It's good to be back. Hope you're all well.

Preparing for the Months Ahead
Last I wrote I told you that I was sick. I'm glad to say that I am some better, but officially I am on light duty. Thank you for your concern.
I'm thrilled that my associates took time to prepare a video for us. The video is of a Shop-Vac product that is made in Pennsylvania. I bought the Shop-Vac that is featured in the video for use in the basement. After visiting the web site http://www.shopvac.com/ I am reconsidering my purchase. My Shop-Vac is great, but I bought it for a specific purpose and might have had a multi-use tool for the lawn as well. Or, I'm thinking that I if I had kept it out of the basement I could have had a really neat vacuum for the house.
With all of my vac thoughts, I'm remembering that Father's Day will be June 19, 2011. Maybe I could intercept the gift and get a new vacuum out of the deal! Either way, I am sure that I am going to look more closely at Shop-Vac products. Please do take a few minutes to view the new video.

It's a tough day.
Last week my associates were sick and this week I am sick. It's tough being the operator of a one man band. There isn't anybody to replace you if you should call in sick. Actually, when I called I had to leave a message for myself!
This Blog was never intended to be my political forum. Political debate is something that I immediately refer to my good friend, Neil. He's the political go-to guy, not me. But the President paid a visit to me in my living room when I sat down for a rest this afternoon. I was (and still am) shocked. He told me that, "We have to live within our means..." I was confused. I thought it was fairly evident that I did live within my means. I guess I shouldn't assume that they miss seeing me at the gym. Kick a guy when he's down, why don't you?
Since I'm ill, I have decided to start thinking about living within my means tomorrow. I really wanted to upload the gardening book for everybody and update the web site, but I need to review my household spending.
Even without the updates, please do visit. We've been improving the site regularly.

Sticky situation
Cellophane tape is pretty neat. You can use it to coax climbing plants to follow their trellis, wrap it sticky side out around a paper towel to pick up glass slivers, or even patch a hole in a screen. Today I found myself in need of cellophane tape because I know I'll be wrapping a present or two very soon. I was at the store and actually remembered to look for the tape.
The display rack that was there had a number of different dispensers with different lengths, widths, and brands. I had already done the math to figure the cost per square inch for three of the offered products when I glanced down the aisle to an seemingly endless row. Then I remembered reading that if we Americans spent $3.33 on American made products it could create about 10,000 jobs in our country.
I dropped my "Sensible Shopper hat" on the floor and picked up the tape that read, “Made in America.” I don't know how it is in your house, but I know with birthdays alone I can hold up my end of that bargain.
Please visit our web site to find more products that are made in America.

Spring fever
The cat and I have Spring Fever. We were actually able to get out in the yard today and start preparing the gardens for summer. (Yes, my Northern friends, winter will end.)
When I came inside I started to think about getting the Blog written and it almost didn't get done at all. Instead of writing anything I decided to look for some American made toys. A few weeks ago when I was researching American made items I had run across toys from Melissa and Doug. When I first saw their toys I was not too impressed, but then I started to take note of the prices. I could find a decent little toy for under ten dollars for a young child. That's not easy to do any more.
I remember taking my children to the local dollar stores, sometimes the 99 cent store, and somehow the children were always able turn my kindness of giving them a dollar into a twenty dollar loss for me. It was supposed to be an educational experience ~ and I guess I eventually learned. Melissa and Doug were just starting up when my children were at the age most of their toys are geared for, but I took a much closer look tonight at their products and I'm pretty sure the cat is going to enjoy his new bughouse.
Read the story of Melissa and Doug at http://www.melissaanddoug.com/about.phtml and visit our toy department at Toy Sale.

Confession
I'd like to confess. I have been grounded from going to the local hardware store. I told everyone that works there that they shouldn't say things like, “Hey! How'd that go yesterday?” because it will blow my cover, but they get me in trouble every time.
I just love hardware stores and I am fortunate that there are two hardware stores in my town. Both sell candy, but quite often I find myself getting in the car and going to the one on the far side of town. While I was setting up my online hardware store I wondered what made me drive across town. It's a nice drive, but it takes more time to get there which means more gas is used. The people are nice at both of the stores and I can't say I prefer one to the other, but the products are different. The store farther away offers more American made products. That's always be important to me.
I hope that you will take the time to visit the store on the far side of town too, but if you don't have that choice the 'Lawn and Garden' section of our web store has been updated with more American made tools. For those of you that have the need, there's a manure fork on page four.

Hit with a terrible storm
Yesterday my community was hit with a terrible storm. A non-profit, Build an Ark Animal Rescue, was one of many that were harmed. Our prayers are with all of the families that suffered losses.

Good news about America
There is good news again about America! We were able to find some nice women's t-shirts that are made in America. It's not in the budget nor the schedule to buy and test every single one of the t-shirts, but they are able to be found and they are good quality too. It's refreshing to see the label that reads, "Made in U.S.A.".
Yes, the print is rather small, but I think it is because we Americans don't tend to be showy. Take a look at our store to see the nice t-shirts that we found. Georgianna Hardware Corporation

Because I know not all of you use Gmail
This has to be one of the best ideas ever. Microsoft thought they had it going on with the Kinect, but Gmail has something that we can all use. Google is nothing but cutting edge.

First week of the American Dream
Wrapping up the first week of living the American Dream and I am excited to take on next week.
I jumped into this business because I wanted to remind people how great America is and promote American made products. The only thing that has happened is you have confirmed that I was right. Gosh, each of you that I have been in contact with have been inspiring and you have all been supportive.
Keep on, folks. We're getting the word out there! I had hoped we'd reach ten people with the, "buy American" message and we're closer to one-hundred.
I'm well aware that I have very few friends that get excited when I bring up the topic of economics, but now it's simple. Buy American and we create more jobs. When you're out shopping this weekend, please pay attention to the labels. Oh, and as a little thank you, the web site has been updated with more deals and freebies.

Deep breaths.
It seems that finding a pair of jeans that are made in America would be easy, but I was wrong. I can't even say that I was up to the challenge today because for some reason the conversation revolved around September 11.
Deep breaths. We are coming up on the ten year anniversary and I still fight back tears, still have to remind myself to inhale and exhale.
I can't say that I am happy with the results that I have listed on the web site. I wanted to find jeans for the men in my life. I'm talking about the men. The guys that know how to use a shovel, get the job done and aren't afraid to get dirty while they do their job. They are the men that can wear the suit to the office, come home, change their clothes and make plumbing repairs.
Deep breaths. Some of the companies that I had originally searched out are no longer producing their products in America, but there is good news! Yes, there are American made jeans. The prices range up toward four-hundred dollars in some cases, but there are American made jeans to be found.
If you can find any others that I haven't given recognition to please drop me a note and I will be happy to update my records. Actually, I would love to update my records. Just the thought of it makes me feel better.

Bon Ami is made in America
My family has been using Bon Ami for years and I am pleased to showcase this item in Georgianna Hardware's blog. No need to worry about allergic reactions with this product. The Faultless Starch Company/Bon Ami Company have been making their Earth friendly products for over one-hundred years. I think our video shows how powerful the product is. Take a moment to watch what we were able to do in the matter of minutes.
Try as we might to edit our video the changes would not take on our original blog post. The dog was forgiving of we humans. The cat's comment: "Idiots."
You can visit the makers of Bon Ami at http://www.bonami.com/index.php/about_bon_ami/

It's chilly, but the dog and cat are warm.
The night before the Grand Opening of my online store that I have decided to open because I have such a strong belief in the American Dream, my house seems cold. Every time the wind blows it seems as if the cold air rushes in and I get chilled. I could turn the electric heat up, walk all the way across the living room and turn the dial on the gas fireplace, go get a blanket or sweater, or even use the stove to bake some cookies. I have plenty of choices.
I have always thought that I was very fortunate to live in the world's greatest country. My ancestors gained their strength from something that I have never had to long for. Those people decided to give me a gift that I could pass on to my children with pride. They fought for me to keep the gift and they worked to allow me to have choices.
Tonight, as I sit here at my computer, I feel chilled. I know that there are children just up the road from me that are cold too. Maybe they do not have a choice. My grandparents wanted better for their children and saw America as the tool that would help them achieve their dream. That action allowed me to make the choice to start this blog and my little online store that will spotlight products that are made in America. Now I must choose which product to feature.
I chose cat food as the first item to spotlight in my blog. It's common enough. You either love cats or you hate them. My associates and I recently finished our study of cat food. We found three different brands of cat food in the cabinet. All three were chicken so we figured it was a fair comparison. The first was a store brand that was produced in Canada. The second was the 9 Lives brand , but we weren't sure where it was produced. The third brand clearly state, “Made in Thailand”. What? Really?
I decided to call the 800 number listed on the 9 Lives can. A very nice lady answered the call and was more than willing to answer my questions. Yes, the can of chicken cat food was made in America. The beef I have is too. As for the fish, no. All of the fish used in cat food must be de-boned prior to processing. Sadly, Americans don't like to de-bone fish because it is, “labor intensive”, and therefore the product generally comes from Thailand and then is sent to American Samoa for packing. The labels accurately reference this information.
Today I launch my American dream. I want to build an awareness about American made products. It's been an effort and I would like to share my journey. I'd love it if you would choose to follow along. For goodness sake, I inquired about the cat's food. Odd, the cat chose to refuse to eat the chicken that had come from Thailand, but he and the dog are warm tonight.
